Platform Usage and Access

Account Registration

When you create an account with us, you need to provide accurate and complete information. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you notice any unauthorized use of your account, let us know immediately. We're not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access that you could have prevented.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our platform for educational purposes only. This means you won't:

• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts
• Copy, distribute, or resell our course materials without permission
• Attempt to access restricted areas of the platform or interfere with its operation
• Use the platform to transmit harmful code, spam, or malicious content
• Harass other students, instructors, or staff members
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization

Age Requirements

Our platform is intended for individuals aged 16 and older. If you're under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian to use our services. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.

Educational Services and Content

Course Enrollment

When you enroll in a course, you're purchasing access to educational content. Our courses typically run from autumn 2025 through early 2026, with specific dates provided during enrollment. Course availability, schedules, and content may change based on instructor availability or technical requirements.

Content Access and Ownership

All course materials, including videos, documents, code samples, and project files, are owned by Invex Jor or licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access these materials for personal educational use only. You may download materials for offline study, but you can't redistribute them.

Progress and Completion

We track your progress through courses, but completion is your responsibility. While we provide structured learning paths and support, your success depends on your effort and dedication. We don't guarantee specific outcomes, job placement, or income levels upon course completion.

Payment Terms

Pricing and Fees

Course prices are displayed in euros and include applicable VAT for Slovakia. Prices may change, but you'll always see the current price before completing a purchase. Once you've paid for a course, that price is locked in for your access period.

Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods through secure third-party processors. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for all fees you incur. If a payment fails, we may suspend your access until the issue is resolved.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you've accessed less than 20% of the course content. After this period or threshold, sales are final. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. This policy complies with EU consumer protection regulations while accounting for the digital nature of our content.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Invex Jor platform, including its design, functionality, and all content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our brand name, logo, and course materials are our property or licensed to us.

Your Content

When you post projects, comments, or other content on our platform, you retain ownership but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it for educational and promotional purposes. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you post.

Student Projects

Projects you create during courses are yours. We may showcase exceptional student work in our portfolio or marketing materials with your permission. You can always request removal of your work from our promotional materials.

Platform Availability and Changes

Service Availability

We strive to keep our platform accessible 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary disruptions. We'll try to notify you of scheduled maintenance in advance.

Platform Modifications

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of our platform at any time. We'll provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect your access to purchased courses. If we discontinue a course you've purchased, we'll either provide equivalent replacement content or issue a partial refund.

Content Updates

Technology changes fast, especially in game development. We update course content periodically to reflect current best practices and software versions. You'll have access to updated content for any course you've purchased.

Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process your personal data according to our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements. By using our platform, you consent to this data processing. We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our educational services
• Communicate with you about courses and platform updates
• Process payments and prevent fraud
• Analyze platform usage to enhance user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

Disclaimers and Limitations

Educational Nature

Our courses provide educational content about Unreal Engine and mobile game development. While we aim for accuracy and quality, we can't guarantee that our content is error-free or complete. The game development industry changes constantly, and some information may become outdated.

No Employment Guarantees

We don't promise job placement, specific income levels, or career outcomes. Your success depends on many factors beyond our control, including your effort, prior experience, market conditions, and opportunities available to you.

Third-Party Tools

Our courses teach you to use third-party software like Unreal Engine. We don't own or control these tools, and their availability, features, or licensing terms may change. You're responsible for obtaining proper licenses for any software you use.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invex Jor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform. Our total liability to you for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months before the claim arose.

Account Termination

Termination by You

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Account closure doesn't entitle you to refunds for any remaining access period, but you can continue accessing purchased courses until your paid period ends.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our platform. We'll usually provide warning before termination unless the violation is severe. Terminated users aren't entitled to refunds.

Effect of Termination

When your account is terminated, you lose access to all course materials and platform features. Any content you posted may remain on our platform if it's intertwined with educational discussions or if removing it would disrupt other students' learning experience.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia and the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Košice, Slovakia, unless EU consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Informal Resolution

Before taking any legal action, please contact us to try resolving the issue informally. Most concerns can be addressed through direct communication. We're committed to finding fair solutions to problems that arise.

EU Consumer Rights

If you're an EU consumer, you have specific rights under EU law that these terms don't limit. You may also have access to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform for resolving disputes.

General Provisions

1. Changes to Terms: We may update these terms periodically. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
2. Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
3. No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't constitute a waiver of that right.
4. Assignment: You can't transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may assign our rights to another entity.
5. Entire Agreement: These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and Invex Jor regarding platform use.
6. Language: These terms are provided in English. If translated, the English version prevails in case of conflicts.
